Mani Ratnam, one of the brilliant filmmakers in India, is almost ready with his most awaited movie Raavana featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan . According to the sources Mani Ratnam wanted stunt director Shyam Kaushal to shoot an action sequence where a petrol bomb blasts.

The scene was being shot with Aishwarya Rai and south Indian actor Vikram.

It was a difficult task to execute as the filmmaker wanted the bomb to blast midair, a few feet away from Vikram.

Actually, Mani himself had been in a similar situation when his film Bombay had released and a bomb had blasted midair and he was saved by just a few seconds in 1995.
