Ragini – A Discovery For Aishwarya

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is very happy and grateful to Mani Ratnam who launched her in the movie Iruvar in 1997. She is again thankful to the producer and director Mani Ratnam who has conceptualized the special character called Ragini in the movie Raavan.


According to Aishwarya, Ragini is an awesome character and has proved a discovery for her. The character will perform dances, will appear in the stunts and will also face the brunt of the weird character Raavan, according to Aish. The actress shares her experience of the movie saying that she has shot in the dense, dark and dangerous forest which is full of snakes, leeches and all the possible creepy critters.

All the crew of the movie Raavan had to wake up at sharp 5a.m. and then they had to go on a Reiki and come back by eight. Aishwarya also says that Mani Ratnam is a very polite person and is very deicated towards his work. Aishwarya is quite happy for her character in Raavan and also says that Ragini is a power packed character.
