Aishwarya is a wonderful dancer says Longinus Fernandes

Indian choreographer Longinus Fernandes made stars dance to his amazing tunes in Slumdog Millionaire and he also directed a sequence in Hollywood movietitled Eat, Pray Love, but this time it’s Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai who bowled the choreographer over with her dream like dance steps.. Longinus Fernandes has choreographed the song Udi udi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Guzaarish.

The choreographer has all praises for the actress, as he states that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a wonderful dancer and it didn’t take her long to learn the steps but at the same time it did take her some time to perfect it and to get into the mood of the character. Longinus further told that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make the song totally different and unique. The choreographer asked him if they can add a little bit of Spanish touch to the song and give it a earthy feel too.

The filmmaker liked the thought, so it was decided that the whole dance will have a rustic look to make the song more natural. Longinus Fernandes , who won a Filmfare Award for best choreography for the song "Pappu can't dance sala..." in Imran Khan starrer flick Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na, had assisted Farah Khan for a couple of years. Also starring Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan as paraplegic patient, the movie is scheduled to hit screens on November 19, 2010.
