Aish nominated as the Best actress category

For the last few years, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been getting pipped at the post by the likes of Vidya Balan or Priyanka Chopra. But this year, Aishwarya Rai’s cosmological performance as a nurse looking after a death-seeking quadriplegic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Guzaarish, has won many a heart, though the flick may have failed at the box office.


Other noticeable performances came from Vidya Balan in Ishqiya, Kajol in My Name Is Khan and Katrina Kaif in Rajneeti. The most surprising thing is that the audiences voted 10,867 votes, out of which an overwhelming majority i.e., 77 percent voted for Aishwarya Rai.
