Even Aishwarya rai Bachchan was shocked to hear this and said that it was natural courtesy. And that she didn’t know that a simple invitation would make national headlines like this. The actress met Colin Firth at Oscar party and as she has good relationships with him because she has worked with him in the Hollywood project “The Last Legion”. Colin and his wife invited Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya to their home in London and in return to show her generosity she invited them to her residence in Mumbai, India respectively. This simple sign of gesture became the news for the whole world. And now some media forecaster has also become busy in finding out the other masala of this high profile meeting.
Well after sharing the screen space in Raavan, happily married couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are again going to be paired in a romantic comedy titled “Ladies and Gentlemen”, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi who has made Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Andaz Apna Apna with the same genre. Ladies and Gentlemen tells the story of an unfaithful husband and his wife. This film will showcase a few firsts for the couple; Abhishek Bachchan will play a womanizer for the first time in his acting career and will be seen romancing many ladies. The movie will also be the couple's first romantic-comedy together.
Rajkumar had earlier approached Aishwarya for the role five years ago but due her hectic shooting schedules and other work commitments, the actress had to opt out the offer. RajKumar Santoshi said in an interview that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is perfect for this movie. Though the actress has done comedy before, this is a new genre for Abhishek and for them as a couple. “Ladies and Gentlemen” will also see RajKumar Santoshi begin a new banner named after his late mother who passed away last year. Shooting for the film will most probably start in the month of July this year.
