Aish flaunted at FICCI FRAMES Excellence Awards 2011

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made millions of hearts stop beating in a baby pink net saree and sleeveless silk blouse when she graced the FICCI FRAMES Excellence Awards 2011 at Hotel Renaissance in Powai, Mumbai on last Friday. The Guzaarish actress was bestowed with Decade of Global Achievement award for her contribution to Hindi cinema.

The award was given away by Yash Raj Chopra. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fragile net saree had embroidery intonation and superfluities. She was also paired with a back baring matching silk blouse. The actress however matched the delicate theme of her entire look with light jewelery - stud earrings, a diamond bracelet and statement rings on both her hands. Aishwarya’s hair was styled straight with a side parting. She wore glossy pink lipstick admiring comment her dress colour, cloudy eye makeup emphasizing her green eyes. She introduced Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman during the ceremony and was seen chatting with him up later on. She posed on stage with Yash Chopra, Hugh Jackman, Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchanwas also seen sharing laughs with Vidya Balan after applauding her on her Best Actress award for her role in Ishqiya.

Aishwarya's family members were not with her at the event. Bollywood's star couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been signed to play the lead characters in the forthcoming movie 'Ladies and Gentlemen'. The film will be directed by flawless filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi who would also be producing it. It is all set to hit the floors in the month of July. Earlier gossip was that Bollywood's daring man Salman Khan and sizzling beauty Deepika Padukone were under deliberation for the lead roles in the above mentioned movie. However, Aishwarya and Abhishek are said to be confirmed for the lead roles. So, the Bachchan jodi are all geared up for the venture for they are once again playing an on screen couple.

Aish to honour Hugh Jackman

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has agreed to grace FICCI on it’s finale to present a souvenir to Hugh Jackman on the 25th of March in Mumbai respectively. Being India's well-known international face, Aishwarya Rai was requested by FICCI and flawless filmmaker and producer Karan Johar to grace the occasion and present Hugh Jackman with a memento of appreciation.

FICCI FRAMES 2011, the annual gathering and celebration of the media and entertainment industry, is expected to have some of the top most professionals from the media, broadcast, movie, gaming, animation and the rest of the entertainment industry. According to the sources it was also revealed that if everything falls on the right place then Aishwarya Rai and sizzling Sonakshi Sinha will share same stage with Australian actor-producer. It has been revealed that Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman and Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan will meet at a film and media conference to be held in Mumbai, for a discussion on the two biggest film industries across the globe.

And if the two hot guys on stage are not enough, none other than, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be introducing the Wolverine star on stage. However, it was Fox Star and Karan Johar who were responsible in bringing Hugh to Mumbai. Jackman will be coming down on 24th March and will be attending the closing ceremony of the conference on the 25th March. The Hollywood actor will talk about cinema and the closing gap between Hollywood and Bollywood along with KJo and SRK.

When contacted, Vijay Singh, who is the CEO of Fox Star India confirmed the news saying that they have planned to bring a big Hollywood celebrity. Hugh was the first choice and everything fell into right place. He will also attend the closing session of the conference. Karan Johar will be in conversation with Hugh and Shah Rukh Khan. It will be a wonderful platform due to the occurrence of two of the best from their particular industries.
