Bollywood definitely influences people.In a recent incident the cops were stunned to find an ALL Women robbery gang inspired by Dhoom 2 's character Sunehri played by Aishwarya Rai.The Gang had been robbing godowns and had the police on their toes.The gang was Geeta's brainchild who is a thirty plus woman.She was the boss and had -Kela (32), Krishna (40), Ompati (40), Sheela (20) in her gang.They were nabbed by the police at Peera Garhi Chowk in Paschim Vihar after a tip-off.




DCP (West) Sharad Aggarwal said police recovered 48 batteries that the gang had stolen from rooms near cellphone signal towers. All the women belonged to Khokhra Kot in Rohtak district, he said.They are from the Sansi tribe, which is spread across north India and claims its lineage from Raja Sanswal Sansi,who died fighting the Mughals with Rana Pratap.


Krishna instigated Geeta and Kela by citing Sunehri’s example.They also got Sheela, 20, and Ompati, 40 later. Two of the women would lure the guards away while the rest would clean out the warehouse, officers said. The police said Geeta and others were from poor families and their husbands are drunkards and drug-addicts.In order to survive and fend their families, they worked as ragpickers. But it would not be enough so after gettin inspired by Sunehri's character they started stealing from cellphone signal towers...
