The former beauty queen better known as Bachchan Bahu now that is our aishwarya rai bachchan is all set to show her new avtaar in her upcoming flick "Indhiran". The leading lady is starring opposite superstar of the south- Rajnikanth . It seems like aishwarya does not leave anything which will make her look perfect on- screen. To make her role more lively, the beauty queen is learing Karate from Ramesh master, making her perform her part naturally.

This most awaited movie of south is under the direction of the showman of south shankar and music will be composed by none other but the oscar winner A.R. Rehman. The movie will be having a song which is known as one of the most expensive shot songs ever. The movie tells a story of two people, both the role played by Rajnikanth. One is the role of the scientist and other is the robot he creates.

We are eagerly waiting to see such rare personalities of film industry to create a magic on silver screen soon.

Aish named goodwill ambassador

Bollywood diva Aishwariya Rai Bachchan has been named the first goodwill ambassador for Smile Train. Smile train, the maker of movie 'Smile Pinky', is a charitable organization that works worldwide for children with cleft lip. According to a press release, Aish has partnered with the NGO, in association with her own charity - Aishwariya Rai Foundation and will take forward the movement globally.




Feeling obliged Aishwariya said, “God has given me plenty of reasons to smile and I feel it's time to spread it around. There are a lot of children out there who so desperately need help, but can't receive timely care because their families cannot afford this surgery or are ill-educated about this condition. Working with Smile Train, if I can make a difference in their lives, it will certainly make me feel honoured and blessed.”

Since Aishwariya has got global appeal and star power, therefore it is expected she can make the movement more successful. As an ambassador, she has to help Smile Train to provide free cleft surgery to children in 76 developing countries around the world, including India.

The Power Couple of Bollywood - Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan are seen doing naughty acts with their first ever ad together. The brand 'lux' has been credited for bringing the couple together on television commercial.



Talking about her special connection with the brand Aishwariya Rai Bachchan said, “I have been associated with Lux for past 10 years as a Global Brand Ambassador and this association holds a very special place in my heart. Shooting with Abhishek makes this ad all the more special as it's our first commercial together and we had a great time shooting for it.”

On this Abhi says, “We are happy and proud of the fact that we have done our first ever commercial for Lux. When we decided to do something for the first time together, it had to be special and stand for all the things that we believed in. The script drew me to the commercial and I liked the way Ash and my parts were incorporated - mischievous, soft and fun which brought out the vibes in the relationship that we share.”

Aishwarya make a way for Rani on small screen

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had refused to be a part of the upcoming dance-based TV show, Dance Premiere League (DPL) because the channel couldn’t pay the fee Aishwarya demanded.




According to the recent reports Bollywood’s dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit, is going to be there on the show as one of the judges. But according to latest news, Madhuri Dixit has also opted out of the project, which is why the makers of the show are now planning to approach Rani Mukherjee for the same.

Madhuri has told the channel that she would sign the contract only if they could find her a perfect nanny to take care of her sons. But as the channel has not been able to make the required arrangements, there are chances that Rani may be approached to be there in the place of Madhuri and Ash.

Shiamak Davar and Arshad Warsi are the other two judges who have been finalised for the show. But still the show producers have postponed the show and are waiting for Madhuri to give her nod to the proposal. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's next releases are Hollywood film The Pink Panther 2, Endhiran which is a Tamil flick, Raavan, Action Replay and Guzaarish.

Madhuri Dixit is going to host an Indian television dance contest after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan proved too expensive for the show's makers. Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were both being considered to be the judge for one of the dance teams.




Aishwarya lost out to Madhuri as she quoted an exorbitant amount of money. The makers of the dance show couldn’t afford her and they decided to host Madhuri Dixit as she had demanded an affordable price.

Ex-Beaus confessions upset Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai was indeed upset and broke down on the sets of her new movie Guzaarish also starring Hrithik Roshan, thanks to the statements made by her ex-beaus Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi here and there.



The actress was heard to have said that she had moved on with her life and wanted the others to follow suit. She added that she is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan and people should let her be at peace.

Bollywood definitely influences people.In a recent incident the cops were stunned to find an ALL Women robbery gang inspired by Dhoom 2 's character Sunehri played by Aishwarya Rai.The Gang had been robbing godowns and had the police on their toes.The gang was Geeta's brainchild who is a thirty plus woman.She was the boss and had -Kela (32), Krishna (40), Ompati (40), Sheela (20) in her gang.They were nabbed by the police at Peera Garhi Chowk in Paschim Vihar after a tip-off.




DCP (West) Sharad Aggarwal said police recovered 48 batteries that the gang had stolen from rooms near cellphone signal towers. All the women belonged to Khokhra Kot in Rohtak district, he said.They are from the Sansi tribe, which is spread across north India and claims its lineage from Raja Sanswal Sansi,who died fighting the Mughals with Rana Pratap.

Aishwairya Rai down with fever

Aishwarya Rai is down with fever and she has flu like symptoms and is not doing well. This news has emerged from the Bachchan household. This news was leaked by Father-in-Law Mr Bachchan himself in his blog.




The actress apparently is down with chest infection. Ms. Bachchan seems to have caught the cold when she was shooting for Ravan in Ooty. The “worried” father-in-law wrote while attending to ailing friend and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh in Singapore.

“It’s worrying to be so far away from children and not be there to look after them. Yes, they are mature and married and responsible, but children will always remain children,” the star added.

The 66-year-old actor also complained that he has been suffering from a “strained back”.

"Jaya Bachchan left this evening for Mumbai after having spent more than a month by the side of Amar Singhji during his ailment. I (will) stay back till he is sound enough to travel back,” he wrote.
