The duo entertained the audiences at the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai on Saturday night by acting like a few popular acts of the year, but nothing could beat their parody of Ethan and Sophia, played by Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, from the flick Guzaarish directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.


Imran Khan was dressed up as the magician ‘Ethan’ and Ranbir was asked to play the nurse Sophia. They together made everyone laugh with their act….

Aishwarya’s smoking scene was essential

The co-producer of recent Bollywood release Guzaarish has justified the controversial promotional posters of the movie that showcased Aishwarya Rai Bachchan smoking a cigarette as it was a requirement of the script.


A letter issued by UTV Software Communications Private Limited to the National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE), a tobacco vigilante organisation headquartered in Goa, has manetioned that Aishwarya's smoking act on the posters was necessary. A spokesperson of UTV Software communications limited has said in a letter to an anti-tobacco organization, that te scene in which the character, played by Aishwarya Rai, is shown smoking was merely a creative requirement for the script.

It has been clarified that neiher does Guzaarssh is based on smoking in any manner whatsoever. In the past made actors Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi among Bollywood biggies either shell out fines to the court for directly or indirectly promoting tobacco on the screen and off it. Guzaarsih also starred Hrithik Roshan.

Aish denies the chitchat

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is passionately waiting for the the release of her latest film Guzaarish, opposite the most talented actor Hrithik Roshan, recently denied some rumours. The rumours that a few intimate scenes between Aish and Hrithik have been removed from the movie on the request of the actress.


Aishwarya doesn’t agree with the reports and said that they are nothing but nonsense and she also said that where she stands today doesn't allow her to act in such scenes. For the first time, Aishwarya Rai did disclose about her character in the flick. Aishwarya will be enacting the role of a nurse who looks after the paralyzed patient, played by Hrithik, for 12 long years.

The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is well known for his flamboyant song-and-dance routines. After the average performance of her recent release Action Replayy, we wish that Guzaarish would bring a good business. Don’t miss to watch it!!!

Aish is a sharp actress says Sanjay

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has made a third film with his favourite actress Aishwarya Rai, said that she is not just beautiful but has a very sharp mind too. Sanjay gave Aishwarya’s career great encouragement when he presented her as Nandini in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Then with the success of Devdas, Aishwarya was presented as Parvati, the duo celebrated the magic of their creativity once again. Now with the upcoming release Guzaarish, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the character of a nurse named Sofia. Guzaarish, going to be released on November 19, also has Hrithik Roshan portraying the role of a magician who becomes a paraplegic when a magic trick goes wrong. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made successful movies like Khamoshi, Devdas, Black.

Love is in the air for Hrithik-Aish

The flawless, suave actress who has spelled her charm all around Bollywood Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the talented actor Hrithik Roshan have proved that they share a great on-screen chemistry. It has been learnt that Sanjay Leela Bansali's latest flick 'Guzaarish' which is salted for release on November 19, is likely to showcase romance between the two outstanding celebrities.


In the film, Hrithik Roshan is showcased as a wheelchair-bound paraplegic magician. Whereas, on the other hand Aishwarya Rai enacts the character of a married nurse who takes care of Hrithik. And as the time passes on, the bond between the two grows stronger and stronger and both the couple fall in love with each other immensely. It has been reported that the film would also offer a very romantic scene between Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's way of flaunting the visual splendour in his movies and cinematographer Ravi. K. Chandran's awesome job with the camera promises to be a visual treat. Sanjay Leela Bhansali also debuts as a music director as he has also scored the music for the flick. This will be Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan's third film together after Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar. Aish SLB's muse

The renowned flawless filmmaker sanjay Leela Bhansali is back again with his next project titled Guzaarish. And at the same time SLB(Sanjay Leela Bhansali) has once again teamed up with the outstanding Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and said that she is his muse. Sanjay Leela Bhansali described Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a timeless actress of Bollywood.



In an interview, the filmmaker mentioned that Aishwarya is his muse, and he gets terribly excited when he make a film with her because the actress is very, very special for him. This is Sanjay's third movie with Aishwarya after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam that was released in 1999 and the 2002 flick Devdaas.

The director also praised actor Hrithik Roshan by stating that he have never enjoyed working with any other actor as much as he have enjoyed working with Hrithik Roshan.. Hrithik will be seen as a magician in the movie, while Aishwarya Rai plays a nurse who is separated from her husband. The film will reportedly touch the issue of controversial mercy killings.

First look of Guzaarish unveils on September 3

The first look of Guzaarish starring Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and glamourous actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be unveiled in theaters with the release of Kajol, Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor starrer flick We Are Family on September 3, 2010.


Directed by the very talented bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali Guzaarish is salted for release on November 19. Filming of the movie Guzaarish started in Goa in July 2009 and wrapped up in April 2010.

Aishwarya Rai will be essaying a different character in the film. Hrithik Roshan plays a paraplegic who is confined to a wheelchair. It is said that the actor had to stop going to the gym to loose abs and gain weight around his waist...

Aish helps SLB

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing the role of a saviour again. Earlier also Aishwarya Rai had helped Sanjay Leela Bhansali with the script, and now the latest buzz is that Aishwarya has provided some more inputs to a dance secne for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming venture Guzaarish which is still in it's making process.


Aishwarya Rai was shooting for a song sequence for Guzaarish and the director was not satisfied with the steps of one line of the song. But Aish gave 25 options to get a suitable step for that line that proved to be a great help for the choreographer. The whole crew even thanked the actress for saving their day. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.

Aishwarya and Hrithik learns Portuguese

Bollywood's beautiful babe Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and style icon Hrithik Roshan will be seen together in upcoming flick Guzaarish which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.




The trio are once again teamed up to deliver their best of perfections. According to the reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trying to make his forthcoming flick Guzaarish flawless.

Both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan are learning Portuguese language as in some parts of the film Hrithik and Aishwarya will be speaking Portuguese. The sets of the film also reflects Portuguese architecture and style. The actress will also feature in films like Raavan, The Pink Panther 2, Action Replay.

Ex-Beaus confessions upset Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai was indeed upset and broke down on the sets of her new movie Guzaarish also starring Hrithik Roshan, thanks to the statements made by her ex-beaus Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi here and there.



The actress was heard to have said that she had moved on with her life and wanted the others to follow suit. She added that she is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan and people should let her be at peace.

This all happened after the recent interviews of Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi during which they had openly talked about their passionate relationship with the actress. Salman Khan was asked that whether he physically abused Ash or not. To which, Salman strongly replied and said, when he hit someone he gave it his best shot and had he hit Aishwarya, the former Miss World would not have survived.

In the same way, actor Vivek Oberoi also opened his heart on Farah Khan’s chat show called “Tere Mere Beach Mein”. The actor said that she had called him ‘immature’ when had called the infamous press conference accusing Salman of threatening him.

Longines, the famous Swiss watchmaker has opened a new shop-in-shop devoted exclusively to its watches, at Kamal Watch Company in Banjara Hills.




Longines Ambassadress of Elegance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was keen to celebrate the occasion with members of the press and public.She has completed nearly a decade of endorsing Swiss luxury watch brand Longines.

Aishwarya still has some good movies like Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, big-budgeted Tamil Film Endhiran,Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next with Hrithik Roshan, Vipul Shah’s Action Replay with Akshay Kumar and a movie with Excel entertainment, probably one with Rajiv Menon as well. Hollywood top star Will Smith is still willing to work with her.

Aishwairya Rai's phone crashed

Aishwarya Rai just a few days back was down with “flu-like symptoms”. The rumour began to make rounds that it’s probably swine flu and her fans and well-wishers sent her so many “speedy-recovery” messages that her mobile phone crashed.




But later it was revealed that it was the common flu. For some bizarre reason, every body assumed that it was swine-flu. Aishwarya clarified that at the launch of the Conquest Ceramic series of Longines watches in Hyderabad. She’s the brand ambassador of the Swiss watchmaker.

Speaking about the flu she had, Ash told the reporters: “I had the common-flu. I had fever and very bad chest-congestion. By the grace of God I'm here today and back to a very hectic schedule, so literally after four days’ rest.”

The actress was grateful to all her well wishers for the speedy-recovery messages.

"My phone crashed a couple of times because of the SMSes, I received. But, thank you all for your steady recovery messages and well-wishes,” she said.

Ash will now resume work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan with Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram. After wrapping up the two films she will shoot three songs for Vipul Shah’s Action Replay with Akshay Kumar.

Swine Flu Scares Bollywood

The swine flu fear has affected the work of many films, as some of the technicians are either down with high fever, or they are not willing to do the work. Moreover, viral fever in the city is also taking its toll and people are confusing viral fever for swine flu.




When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was down with fever and chest infection, it was reported that the actress was having flu symptoms. Film shootings of films like Shankham have also been stopped, and the shootings have been rescheduled for a later date. The work in filmy circles would be stopped till the Ganesh Chaturth.

The good news is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not affected by the Swine flu and will recover soon and the actress would soon start shooting for Shankar’s Endhiran and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Vipul Shah’s Action Replay where she will be paired with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Hubby Abhi gets Ash's name tattooed

The Bollywood tattoo club is getting and better with time. Saif Ali Khan did it for Kareena in the most dramatic way and drew huge attention and Hrithik Roshan for his wife Sussane did the same.




And latest to join the bandwagon is none other than hubby Abhishek Bachchan who is planning to join the club too. The news in the tinsel town is that Abhishek is going to declare his love for wife Aishwarya Bachchan by getting her name tattooed on his hand.


Tattooing seems to have become the latest trend in Bollywood. There are others who have done it for other than spouses like Sanjay Dutt who got his parent's name tattooed on his chest while Ajay Devgan did it for daughter Nysa.

Abhishek is currently busy shooting for Mani Ratnam's Raavan in Ooty. He plans to get the tattoo done once he returns to Mumbai.

Well, the most beautiful lady of the world certainly deserves something out of the box.

Aishwarya in bad health

Lot of people are out of work these days. But it's nothing to do with the recession. Currently a whole lot of actors are down and out due to the weather. In Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's case, it seems she put her health at risk while shooting for Mani Ratnam's Raavan in Cochin, where it's been pouring heavily.

Although Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was down with high fever and was prescribed doses of multi-vitamins and paracetamol, she insisted on carrying on shooting despite the director asking her to take rest.

The Cochin schedule has been a gruelling one for her as all the scenes require her to be drenched. Aishwarya was also shooting simultaneously for the Tamil and Hindi version.

Thus, the time of staying wet for her role was incredibly long she had to sometimes wear the wet outfits for over 10 hours. The last few days have been incredibly bad for her health and she's now on medication.

The reason that why the actress wanted to finish her work quickly was that she had to dash back for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish that also has Hrithik Roshan in it. She also doesn't want Mani to undergo any losses.

Shahid Kapur, on the other hand, has missed his shoot since last Tuesday because of high fever.

What's interesting to note is that around the same time, Priyanka Chopra also fell ill with viral flu. Now, could this be a case of getting too close for comfort? Deepika Padukone who was shooting for Housefull has been diagnosed with malaria.

Well we wish that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would get well soon...

Ash in school text books

Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan are being seen in school text books.

These stars are being used as illustrations in Sanskrit text books to help students learn alphabets.The pictures used are from their last year block-buster film Jodha Akbar.

It seems Bollywood and learning go hand in hand, Mulayam Singh dedicated a School to Amitabh Bachan some time back.

At the same time Amar Singh opened another school in the name of Aiswarya Rai in Barabanki last year.

It’s a welcome break from the usual teaching methods.

Ash-Hrithik Starrer Script Issues

The film Guzaarish was announced recently which shall star Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and newcomer Aditya Bal by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is quite upset now a days with that now because of some script issues.

Since its announcement, script of Guzaarish is being touted as not original. The news has been hitting several mail boxes. People are talking that Guzaarish is very similar to Charulata, The Painted Veil and The Sea Inside.

Bhansali has declined to say anything but claimed the script is unique one and not similar to any of these above said movies. Guzaarish has got nothing to do with any of these three films and this has made Sanjay very upset with the constant spotlight on the film.

Earlier, it was being said that Guzaarish is a remake of John Badham’s Whose Life Is It Anyway, while some suspect it’s a copy of Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige.

Ash all pink in Hollywood

Ashwairya Rai's visibility in Hollywood is all pink. Forbes has listed Aishwarya Rai as India's most baAshwairya Rainkable star in Hollywood, pushing down the Khans of Bollywood in the ratings of the best bet for a film's financial success.

Aishwarya is among six Bollywood actors in the new Forbes list of
Hollywood's Most Valuable Actors. Other Indians on the list compiledby the American business magazine are Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan and Hrithik Roshan.


Although at 387th position in the global list of as many as 1,411 actors from across the world, Aishwarya is ranked highest among all
Indian actors and is the only female actor from the country who made it to this elite club. The list also includes Indian American actor Kal Penn, whose films include The Namesake. At 476th position, he is ranked higher than all the Bollywood actors, except Aishwarya Rai, who stars in the new Hollywood venture The Pink Panther 2.



Among the male Bollywood actors, Aamir is ranked highest at 540th in the global list, followed by Shah Rukh (735), Salman (753), Irrfan (825) and Hrithik (1,059).


The global list, topped by Hollywood actor Will Smith, is based on the bankability of actors around the world as voted by members of the global entertainment industry, Forbes said. Smith is the only actor to get a ten-on-ten score and is followed by four Hollywood stars - Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie - sharing the second position.


These are followed by Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson in the top 10.
