Ex-Beaus confessions upset Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai was indeed upset and broke down on the sets of her new movie Guzaarish also starring Hrithik Roshan, thanks to the statements made by her ex-beaus Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi here and there.



The actress was heard to have said that she had moved on with her life and wanted the others to follow suit. She added that she is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan and people should let her be at peace.

This all happened after the recent interviews of Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi during which they had openly talked about their passionate relationship with the actress. Salman Khan was asked that whether he physically abused Ash or not. To which, Salman strongly replied and said, when he hit someone he gave it his best shot and had he hit Aishwarya, the former Miss World would not have survived.

In the same way, actor Vivek Oberoi also opened his heart on Farah Khan’s chat show called “Tere Mere Beach Mein”. The actor said that she had called him ‘immature’ when had called the infamous press conference accusing Salman of threatening him.

Aishwarya revived lost friendships

Karan Johar’s birthday bash turned out to be an occasion for Bollywood’s many warring factions to congregate and iron out their differences. It’s not everyday one sees the likes of Ash, Abhishek Bachchan , Shahrukh Khan , Vivek Oberoi , Kareena Kapoor , Karisma Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor under the same roof.

Aishwarya and Shahrukh Khan’s cold war is legendary. It began in those days when she was dropped from Chalte Chalte after her feud with Salman spilled over on the film’s sets. Since then, Ash and SRK hadn’t been on talking terms. But K-Jo’s birthday was an occasion to make peace. Not only did Ash and SRK bond once again, reports say SRK apologized to Ash for having wronged her.

However, one of the most surprising patch-up at the bash was between the Bachchans and the Kapoors. We all know how cold the Bachchans have been towards the Kapoors ever since Abhishek’s broken engagement with Karishma. And on Karan Johar’s birthday party, Aishwarya and Kareena Kapoor bonded like pakki sahelis. They chatted, laughed, and even danced together. Abhishek Bachchan, too, rekindled his lost friendship with Kareena Kapoor.

At the party, Aishwarya also met Sonam Kapoor and reportedly chatted with her about the recent Cannes controversy. Vivek Oberoi also came to the party, but kept at a distance from Ash. Salman Khan was invited but did not turn up. Many hatchets were buried deep at Karan Johar’s birthday earlier this week.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not working with any of her past time boy-friends. She has outrightly refused working with her ex-boyfriends
Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. Rumours were that she would be appearing
alongside Vivek in Sautish Kashik’s new big budget romance Tansen, but
even the director denied this.

Satish Kaushik, the director of an upcoming film Tansen has said
that,"I’ve been getting so many calls from people asking me whether I
have cast Vivek Oberoi in Tansen along with Abhishek and Aishwarya and
the answer is no such thing has happened". "I’ve not approached Vivek,
Salman Khan or even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the film. I had only
mentioned Abhishek’s name saying he is someone who can play the role
well as he also has a certain star status and fan following."

Aishwairya Rai's present projects are two big films from which
expectations are high.

One is Aish-Rajnikanth starrer movie Endhiran which is now rumoured to have reached a budget of 120cr, making it India’s most expensive movie. The signature item number alone is said to have cost 30cr and Aishwarya’s fee is rumoured to be in the region of 6cr. However, the over-run on the production dates may be costing Aishwarya dearly as it’s making it difficult for her to sign new projects and her absence from the screen since Sarkar Raj may also be damaging her career.

Aishwarya’s other big budget project, Raavan, of director Mani Ratnam is being delayed as he was rushed off to hospital recently with a suspected heart attack and not released for a week. There have also\ been some disagreements on set with a tiff developing between the South’s leading director and the North’s leading actress. Mani wanted her to shoot a scene without any make-up and Aishwarya was apparently
not very happy about it. In addition, there have been problems over shooting scenes in areas designated as natural reserves.It stars her
opposite Abhishek Bachchan.
