Shahrukh to star opposite Aishwarya Rai

The most enthralling news doing the rounds these days is that Bollywood baadshah Shahrukh Khan will be seen romancing Aishwaraya Rai once again on the silver screen. As per the reports it has been heard that King Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are being considered to portray the lead pair in the sequel of Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Swadesh’.

Earlier both of them had worked together in ‘Josh’ which was released in 1999, then they were seen in ‘Mohabbatein’, and finally in ‘Devdas’. Shahrukh Khan and the gorgeous lady’s chemistry in ‘Devdas’ was adored by the audiences, but after that the superhit jodi was not seen on thescreen again.It’s also rumoured that happened because of Salman Khan, who had created a pandemonium on the sets of SRK’s home production ‘Chalte Chalte’, and since than both SRK and Aish were not seen in any film together till yet.


Firstly it was reported that they are dribbling in that eminent B-town filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to remake the Malayalam film ‘Adaminde Makan Abu’, with Shahrukh playing the lead character. Karan Johar, the ace filmmaker-producer has already bought the rights of the Malayalam project, which featured Salim Kumar and Zarina Wahab. Directed by Salim Ahmed, ‘Adaminde Makan Abu’ chronicles the journey of an elderly Muslim couple who have set out for Haj.Lets see whether Shahrukh and Aishwarya sizzling the screen on fire or not!!! Time will tell us, till then we congratulate Aishwarya Rai for going to become a mom .

Aish-SRK appreciate Fiji

Former Miss World and now the Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai told that Fiji is always close to her heart. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was present at the recent Zee Cine Awards which were held in Singapore which was covered by the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation – and the actress also thanked the citizens of for their immense support of the Bollywood industry.

The actress told FBC’s Mirchi FM Programs director that the support from Fiji means a lot to her and that she can never forget that. She added further by saying that it is a great chance to tell all the listeners of Fiji- thank you so much for all their love, good wishes, the blessing, their emails, and the support they have given to her.

Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan, who visited Fiji in 1998 said that he fond memories of Fiji and was very much fascinated with the hospitality. For SRK it was absolutely a great experience to come to Fiji and meet everyone. The lastest of all is that Shahrukh Khan is expected to make a visit to Fiji later this year as part of the Bollywood film “Kia” which will be shot in Fiji.

Aishwarya says No to SRK

Bollywood actress and the Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai is in the news again for all the wrong reasons. Now, the latest masaledaar buzz is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan refused to shake a leg with Shahrukh Khan at an award function. It is reported that Shahrukh Khan was keenly interested to move to the tunes of the song “Kajra Re” with Aishwarya Rai but the plan was scattered after the beautiful alss turned down the offer.


It is reported that Shahrukh Khan had planned a gig around B-town heroines over the years and he wanted it to conclude with Aishwarya's performance. SRK had planned to dance with her to “Kajra Re. But Aishwarya refused at once. Her argument was that Kajre re was a family song and that she performed the number in Bunty aur Babli only with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan and that she will not dance to that song with anyone else. Well, this time we can’t hel you SRK!!!!

No documentary on Aish

This is a fact that nobody allows anyone to peep into their private life affairs and the same thing is with our sizzling Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actress was reportedly offered a million-dollar deal by a Hollywood studio to make a documentary on her. Of course, who could be better option than the beautiful Aishwarya Rai.

But Aishwarya didn’t find the idea much exciting. The shoot required the unit to be with her throughout a week to document every minute detail of her personal life; it also involved shooting at her residence. Since the actress is a very private person, she immediately declined the offer, and it doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone I feel.

According to sources, the studio guys tried to persuade her for months but she stucked to her decision. A similar kind of documentary was made on Shahrukh Khan for Living With Superstar. However, living with Aishwarya Rai seems to be not that easy !!! Aish will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Guzaarish.

Aish-SRK not teaming up

There have been rumours in the Bollywood town that actress Aishwarya Rai would be teaming up with actor Shahrukh Khan in Yash Raj Film’s next film. But a spokeman from Yash Raj Films has already denied the news saying that there nothing such going regarding the teaming up of the stars.


And it would be a big thing if both of the stars would be casted in a movie together. Released in 2002, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Bollywood film Devdas was reported to be one of the most expensive films and was released in many languages.

Aish talks about SRK

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai on the 3rd anniversary issue of famous writer Shobha De Hello magazine for the first time talked about SRK and the actress also revealed that why they stopped doing films together.



When both Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, were offered Munnabhai MBBS, SRK decided he was not doing Munnabhai MBBS, then Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani came to Aishwarya and said that Sanjay Dutt had agreed to do the role.

Aishwarya revealed that being dependent on SRK was really weird. Whenever Shahrukh would meet Aishwarya socially, he’d apologize which was never taken up in the open. Never in public.

Shahrukh Khan also remarked that it wasn’t right and he couldn’t tell Aish all his reasons for what had happened... he was awkward about it.

Aishwarya and SRK ready to work together

The seven-year-old cold war has finally ended between Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and both the stars will be seen together in SRK’s home production. Shooting for the film will start in 2010. Years ago, Aishwarya’s sudden ouster from Chalte Chalte led to a professional breakup between the two.



In fact, the cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan only made matters worse. But now SRK and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have finished the hatchet and come together once again.

Aishwarya will soon be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the flick Action Replay and SRK's on-screen chemistry with the most talented actress Kajol will be seen in the film My Name Is Khan which will be released in 2010.

Aishwarya revived lost friendships

Karan Johar’s birthday bash turned out to be an occasion for Bollywood’s many warring factions to congregate and iron out their differences. It’s not everyday one sees the likes of Ash, Abhishek Bachchan , Shahrukh Khan , Vivek Oberoi , Kareena Kapoor , Karisma Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor under the same roof.

Aishwarya and Shahrukh Khan’s cold war is legendary. It began in those days when she was dropped from Chalte Chalte after her feud with Salman spilled over on the film’s sets. Since then, Ash and SRK hadn’t been on talking terms. But K-Jo’s birthday was an occasion to make peace. Not only did Ash and SRK bond once again, reports say SRK apologized to Ash for having wronged her.

However, one of the most surprising patch-up at the bash was between the Bachchans and the Kapoors. We all know how cold the Bachchans have been towards the Kapoors ever since Abhishek’s broken engagement with Karishma. And on Karan Johar’s birthday party, Aishwarya and Kareena Kapoor bonded like pakki sahelis. They chatted, laughed, and even danced together. Abhishek Bachchan, too, rekindled his lost friendship with Kareena Kapoor.

At the party, Aishwarya also met Sonam Kapoor and reportedly chatted with her about the recent Cannes controversy. Vivek Oberoi also came to the party, but kept at a distance from Ash. Salman Khan was invited but did not turn up. Many hatchets were buried deep at Karan Johar’s birthday earlier this week.

Sallu to perform infront of Aishwarya

Bollywood's handsome dude, Salman Khan is going through quite a rough patch after a number of flops and learning from Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Salman has taken upon himself the promotion of his latest film, 'Wanted', on which rests his comeback.

It is old news that smart hunk Salman Khan has assured the producer Boney Kapoor of all co-operation in order to promote his action extravaganza. There is a strong news that Salman Khan is all ready to perform at the upcoming IIFA at Macau, along with the dancing sensation and director of 'Wanted' Prabhu Devaa.

Amitabh Bachchan being the IIFA brand ambassador will be present along with his whole family, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. And if Salman goes ahead with his promotion at IIFA in Macau, it would mean that he would literally have to dance in front of Aishwarya !!
