Aishwariya gifted by Abhi

When Abhishek Bachchan came to know that her wife is fond of 'Beauty Oils', he decided to gift Aishwariya Rai Bachchan real exotic beauty oil gift hamper on the occasion of Diwali. The beauty pack included Patchouli oils, Granium oil and Orange Oil etc. which were specially ordered and delivered from an unknown destination.




Behind this Diwali gift is the recent incident which had taken place at the sets of 'Raavana'. One day Ash had taken a day off from the shoot as the strenuous shoot had exhausted her, and went to an exclusive spa center in Mumbai. When Ash came on the sets next day, her hubby star Abhishek Bachchan was bowled over her beauty. This led Abhi to gift her beauty packs this season.

Aishwariya felt happy to receive those gifts and also with the fact that she got a caring hubby Abhishek.

Aish named goodwill ambassador

Bollywood diva Aishwariya Rai Bachchan has been named the first goodwill ambassador for Smile Train. Smile train, the maker of movie 'Smile Pinky', is a charitable organization that works worldwide for children with cleft lip. According to a press release, Aish has partnered with the NGO, in association with her own charity - Aishwariya Rai Foundation and will take forward the movement globally.




Feeling obliged Aishwariya said, “God has given me plenty of reasons to smile and I feel it's time to spread it around. There are a lot of children out there who so desperately need help, but can't receive timely care because their families cannot afford this surgery or are ill-educated about this condition. Working with Smile Train, if I can make a difference in their lives, it will certainly make me feel honoured and blessed.”

Since Aishwariya has got global appeal and star power, therefore it is expected she can make the movement more successful. As an ambassador, she has to help Smile Train to provide free cleft surgery to children in 76 developing countries around the world, including India.

The strenuous shooting of movie 'Raavana' drained Aishwariya Rai Bachchan so much that this time she visibly looked exhausted. So one day Ash took a day off from the shoot and where she went was an exclusive spa center in Mumbai.

It is one of the favourite spa centres of Ash as it is famous for herbal and natural use of products. For one whole day she was on leave and spent the time in the spa. But the most gorgeous thing happened on the next day.

When Ash came on the sets next day, her hubby star Abhishek Bachchan was bowled over her beauty. All others present there too could not keep their eyes off Ash’s stunning looks. Abhishek has always been fan of Aishwariya's beautiful luminous skin which is getting more beautiful with each day passing.

It seems love of hubby has made the beauty with the brains Aishwariya Rai look more beautiful than ever.

Aishwarya performed Karwa Chauth

The sizzling beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came back home with Abhishek Bachchan from abroad to celebrate Karwa Chauth. Ash like last year kept fast for Abhishek Bachchan for his long life and safety.




Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan at the Oprah Winfrey show expressed that they respect their parents and live with actress Jaya Bachchan and actor Amitabh Bachchan.

They even added that if they are in town they make sure that they have at least one meal a day together. Aishwarya's next releases are Raavan, The Pink Panthar 2, Endhiran, Guzaarish and Action Replay.

Aishwairya Rai's phone crashed

Aishwarya Rai just a few days back was down with “flu-like symptoms”. The rumour began to make rounds that it’s probably swine flu and her fans and well-wishers sent her so many “speedy-recovery” messages that her mobile phone crashed.




But later it was revealed that it was the common flu. For some bizarre reason, every body assumed that it was swine-flu. Aishwarya clarified that at the launch of the Conquest Ceramic series of Longines watches in Hyderabad. She’s the brand ambassador of the Swiss watchmaker.

Speaking about the flu she had, Ash told the reporters: “I had the common-flu. I had fever and very bad chest-congestion. By the grace of God I'm here today and back to a very hectic schedule, so literally after four days’ rest.”

The actress was grateful to all her well wishers for the speedy-recovery messages.

"My phone crashed a couple of times because of the SMSes, I received. But, thank you all for your steady recovery messages and well-wishes,” she said.

Ash will now resume work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan with Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram. After wrapping up the two films she will shoot three songs for Vipul Shah’s Action Replay with Akshay Kumar.

Swine Flu Scares Bollywood

The swine flu fear has affected the work of many films, as some of the technicians are either down with high fever, or they are not willing to do the work. Moreover, viral fever in the city is also taking its toll and people are confusing viral fever for swine flu.




When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was down with fever and chest infection, it was reported that the actress was having flu symptoms. Film shootings of films like Shankham have also been stopped, and the shootings have been rescheduled for a later date. The work in filmy circles would be stopped till the Ganesh Chaturth.

The good news is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not affected by the Swine flu and will recover soon and the actress would soon start shooting for Shankar’s Endhiran and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Vipul Shah’s Action Replay where she will be paired with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Amitabh Bachchan's latest comment on his blog that his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Bachchan was down with flu was spreaded out of proportion by the media who is good at making masala news. Many leading media houses reported that Aishwarya was having swine flu which was not true at all. Now, Amitabh has very confidently told that the media reports were rubbish.




Amitabh Bachchan wrote that headlines screaming that his bahu Aishwarya has swine flu was totally wrong. Although, Aishwarya was not keeping well for couple of days but now she has improved a lot and is much better and ready to resume work soon.
