Aishwarya to be awarded by CM of Karnataka

Former miss world, the most beautiful lady on earth Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be awarded in the second Vishwa Kannada Sammelan which is going to take place in Belgaum from 11th March. The actress will be awarded for her contribution and achievement in the arts and culture segment in India and the world over.

It is a three days ceremony, where the people of Karnataka that are called Kannadians, who have achieved success in their respective fields will be honoured. It has been speculated that the Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S. Yeddyurappa, will be honouring the famous personalities. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of them as she was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, and is a Kannadian. She is one of the most successful women of India, and is popular in India as well as outside India. She has acted in more than 40 films, including some Hollywood projects. Well, the CM will honour the beautiful lady Ash on the first day of the ceremony. Aishwarya will also attend the inaugural ceremony.

The only Bahu of Bachchan family has left the other leading heroins behind and has managed to be on the thorn by achieving more and more success. The objective of this event is to showcase the developments achieved by the state in the field of agriculture, irrigation, information & technology, and arts & culture. Along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan several other personalities will also be honoured including N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Technologies.
