Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has decided to stay at home for two months and help her bhabhi Srima with her baby boy, who was born on November 26, 2010. The actress will avoid most public appearances in the next couple of months, as she wants to spend as much time as possible at home only.


Aish will only attend those she had earlier committed to. According to a source, "Post-Guzaarish, she missed the promotions so she could be with her sister-in-law. Everyone is very excited about the baby. The actress had already warned all her producers, organisers and media manager about the situation. Now she’s all set to play the caring bua to the baby in real life now. After the gap of two months. Aishwarya Rai will finalise her next batch of films with Vishal Bhardwaj, Shyam Benegal and Madhur Bhandarkar.

Aish in Shyam Benegal’s next

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been eluding acclaimed director Shyam Benegal for quite some time. However, now Aishwarya Rai has finally said yes to Shyam Benegal’s upcoming movie. The film is a content-driven flick and Aish will be portraying a strong feminine character.

Aishwarya Rai confirms the news saying, she has been working so hard this year that she haven’t had a chance to look at scripts. But on the other hand the one that Shyam Benegal has given her is very very special to the actress. Ash can’t reveal much details about the flick but nevertheless she said that, the film is contemporary. But set in a different frame of time. But it isn’t a period film.
