Aish is not well, skips music launch party

One of the most popular actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is suffering from severe fever so that she cancelled her visit at the music launch of the Telugu version of her film ‘Endhiran’ which held in Hyderabad. The family doctor advised her to take complete bed rest. As per advised, she could not fly for music launch. But she thanked the entire Telugu film industry and said that ‘Endhiran’ is a very special film. Aishwarya said that director of the film Shankar did his best to finish the movie.

She praised music director AR Rahman as well, and the entire team of ‘Endhiram’. She also inspired from Rajnikanth, she said that he is one of the most talented superstar with humble heart. She said about her movie that it is a new kind of film in Indian cinema and the team is excited to share such a special film with the audience. Superstar Rajinikanth, director of the film Shankar and Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi were the chief guests of the music launch function which held in Hyderabad. But on the another hand, a rumor is doing rounds in the air that Amitabh worried about his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter in law Aishwarya’s Bollywood career.

Aish's onscreen lovers

In previous years, it was seen that Aishwarya Rai acted with only a handful of male stars, and one could easily count their names on tips. The two most popular actors are Abhishek Bachchan and cool dude Hrithik Roshan. On the other hand, there are some with whom she refuses to work altogether, like Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi.

However, in her upcoming movies, Aishwarya Rai has been casted opposite certain stars with whom she has never worked before. There is Prithviraj who will be playing the role of Aishwarya's husband in the Tamil version of Raavan, while in the Hindi version, Vikram will portray that role.

Next comes Vipul Shah's Action Replay, where she'll be sharing the silver screen with superstar Akshay Kumar. Later in the year, Guzaarish, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will be released, where she will be seen with Hrithik Roshan.

Last but not the least the actress will romance the veteran actor Rajnikanth in the film Endhiran which is directed by Shankhar.

Aishwarya launches audio cassettes of Rettachuzhi

It is not very common to see the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the audio release of a movie. But the occasion was very special here as it was the audio launch of Tamil film "Rettachuzhi" produced by Shankar, who is directing the actress in his upcoming flick Endhiran: The Robot.

Aishwarya looked amazing in a white saree. Aishwarya Rai released the audio cassettes and CDs of "Rettachuzhi" which were accepted by noted lyricist Vairamuthu. She had once been described by Vairamuthu as a "Taj Mahal weighing 50 kilograms" in one of his lyrics for the film "Jeans".

Aishwarya also told that it’s an honour for her to have been present at this place among legends like Balachander and Bharathiraaja and she felt proud about it. Aishwarya is more happy to be a part of Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’ opposite superstar Rajnikanth.

Aishwarya loud look in Endhiran

Aishwarya who is known for dressing up simple and elegant in personal life will now don a completely different avatar for her upcoming film with Superstar Rajnikanth in his mega budget movie Endhiran.The actress will be seen in everything from loud jewellery to feathers and headgears.The garish look given to Aishwarya can be justified as the movie is a sci fi one.

Manish Malhotra who is the designer for this particular film talks about the costumes used in it.He says that he had to be careful while choosing outfits for the fantasy film and that it was a different experience since it is neither too glamorous nor too simple,something which is completely different from his usual Bollywood projects.

The designer talks about the challenge posed in front of him for Endhiran earlier tilted Robot.Manish tells the media that all the characters require multidimensional looks and that is what was a major challenge for him.

Manish also shopped in NYC for Aishwarya's outfits.

Aishwarya caught up in a situation !

Everyone knows that the Bollywood celebs sleep in the lap of luxury but when it comes to work,they might have to face situations similar to a common man in India. Don't get what I mean?

Aishwarya was caught up in a pretty embarrassing situation while shooting for her upcoming movie,Endhiran opposite southern legendary actor Rajnikanth.The crew was shooting at boondocks which obviously was not connected by a proper road and the star's vanity van could not be driven to the location.With everything else manageable,the only thing that gave a tough time to the Bachchan bahu was the unavailability of toilets there.The entire team was forced to use their natural surroundings like trees and bushes to take nature's call.Aishwarya made no fuss and continued shooting without giving anybody a hard time with the arrangements so made.

Ash starrer ‘Endhiran’ could be deferred

Ashwairya Rai Bachchan starrer Kollywood film Endhiran is in later stages of its shoot.But it seems that there is no end to problems facing its completion. Earlier, recession had hit its song shoot and now there is more that is troubling shooting completion. Endhiran shooting came to a standstill because of Aishwarya Rai until recently and then stunt director Peter Hein met with a serious accident.

Consequently, Ash starrer Endhiran and Ravana may get deferred indefinitely.
Aishwarya Rai, who is currently busy with directorial venture of Manirathinam in Cochin, delayed the Shankar’s Endhiran shoot on the scheduled dates. Shankar wanted to shoot a song sequence in Kulu Manali. So accordingly, Shankar had requested Aishwarya to spare him 10 days from 14th of this month.She expressed her inability to do so and in view of that, Shankar has been shooting some scenes featuring Rajnikanth alone in Chennai.

Then, the accident of noted Hollywood stunt director Peter Hein has thrown Endhiran – out of gear. Mr. Hein was involved in an accident while doing a stunt sequence for a Telugu film, Magadheera, which has Ram Charan Teja, son of Chiranjeevi in the lead. Peter Hein had been in the critical care unit in the Apollo Hospitals since February 18th nursing 19 fractures. Most of the fractures have been on the face, eleven to be precise.

Peter Hein has been signed up to do the stunt sequences in Mani Ratnam’s Ravan and the Shankar-directed Rajini-starrer Endhiran. With this accident, looks like both these projects could be delayed.There is also news that a fight sequence will be the highlight of the film. Not one of those scenes with Danny and Rajini, but with two Rajinis. As is known, Rajini plays dual role in the movie of that of a
scientist and a Robot, developed by the scientist. The action hair-strand-raising sequences were filmed recently with stunt director
Peter Hein choreographing the scenes. The fight is said to happen inside an enclosed glass cabinet. That certainly derives inspiration from Kamal Hassan's movie Dasavatharam. One such two-some fight sequence of Kamal (Christian Fletcher) and Kamal (Shingenn Narahashi) in it evoked a stupendous response.

While recent news suggest, that the film – Endhiran, is about a college professor cum scientist (played by Rajnikanth) who’s an expert in churning out Robot. As per the Government requests, he produces many Robots for the good cause. Famous actor ‘Danny Denzongpa’ who is playing villain in Endhiran approaches Rajnikanth to produce a Robot that has more resistance towards strong blows and hits. Rajnikanth successfully accomplishes through and the output is none other than ‘Rajnikanth’ himself.

Robotic Rajnikanth now sets out romantically on Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, who’s a college student as well, lady love of the scientist. As the Robot goes dashed down with the hopes when Ash runs away from its romantic torture, things are different now. The Robot turns wilder in nature and go more obedient to Baddie Danny’s instructions. How the scientist tames it down, taking the villain into task, forms crux of the story.

Recession hits Ash starrer Endhiran!

Hindi Cinema has become the latest sector in our country to be impacted by the global financial meltdown.

While Ashwairya Rai’s remuneration has not come down and she has been charging a price as high as 6 crores for some projects, recession has hit the production houses.

They are pulling their purse strings to save funds for rainy days. Sun Pictures, producer of Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Endhiran, recently called off the crew's plans to construct a set in the Ramoji Rao Film City for filming one of the songs. However,
security was the reason cited by the production house for the cancellation.



The song will now be shot at an exclusively constructed set at the MRC Nagar grounds, owned by the Sun Management. Shankar has also been reportedly consulted on this matter and the plan has been finalised.
