Aish’s 125 costumes

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is all set a make record. Yes! It is learnt that she will be seen wearing not less than 125 costumes in her upcoming film Action Replay. Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah told that according to the script Aishwarya’s role in the movie loves to doll up and has a fixation for good clothes.


That’s the reason she’s gonna wear so many outfits in a single flick. Action Replay also stars Neha Dhupia and Akshay Kumar in lead roles.

Aish will don the look of an old woman

Playing a glam girl to historical character the Bollywood screen diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has played a variety of roles during her film career and still she wants to do different kind of roles.




Now for the flick Action Replay she will don the look of an old woman and director Vipul Shah says he hired a Hollywood make-up artist to get the right make up on her face.

Aishwarya threw tantrums about getting her make-up done by someone other than her own make-up man. Vipul Shah said "Ash did her old age make up with Paul, a Hollywood make-up artist. When we did it the first time, it didn't work out well. When you are doing age make-up, you can't correct it so it had to be removed fully and done again."

This filmmaker has made movies like "Waqt - The Race Against Time" and "Singh Is Kinng", says the actress shot the scenes patiently. It took 6 hours to get her look right. They started shooting at 3 in the morning and the shooting went on till 7 a.m." There is Akshay Kumar opposite Aishwarya in the movie.

She was nicknamed as ‘dedh minute wali’ by the crew.

However, after they finished shooting the song sequence, Rannvijay had nicknamed Aishwarya as ‘dedh second wali’. And now the name has stuck
on.

The Bollywood actress has been devoting lots of time for long make-up sessions while shooting Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s movie Action Replay in Karjat.

If you’ve been stumped by the plumed and feathered look of Ash in the stills of her Tamil film Endhiran , wait to see her make-over in Vipul Shah’s strangely themed film ‘Action Replay’ co-starring Akshay Kumar.


Reports had it that Ash has been reporting late for shoots on the sets of the film at Nitin Desai studios in Karjat, but director Vipul Shah says the actress has to sit for long make-up sessions to get her look right for every scene.

Aishwarya has an extraordinarily stunning look in the film. So it is certain that it would take time for her to get ready because of which the shoots are accordingly planned.

The director not just dismissed the reports of Ash’s late arrival on the sets, he goes on to laud her for the extra effort she’s putting in. In fact, she is working 15 hours every day for the film.

‘Action Replay’ is based on a unique concept. It’s a film in which the story progresses backwards in time.

Vipul Lambasted on Aishwairya

Vipul Shah, taught Aishwarya a lesson on how to be punctual in a unique way.

They say time is time and it is equal for all and in this big bad world of movies, none is forgiven if he/she reports late, especially on the sets of filmmaker Vipul Shah.

One of the Bollywood's biggest actress, Aishwarya Rai had to bear the brunt of Vipul’s staunch commitment towards his work when she repeatedly reported late to the sets of ‘Action Replay’, co-starring Akshay Kumar. According to reports, Shah was forced to impart Ash a lesson on the importance of punctuality.

Aishwarya would always come late to the sets of the film. On days when she came on time, she would spend most of her time doing up her hair, make-up and clothes while everybody kept waiting for her. The entire schedule of the shoot would get disrupted and Vipul, who is extremely
particular about shooting the scenes aesthetically, was fed up of waiting hours for Ash and hence he made his dismay very clear quite recently.

One fine day when Aishwarya came to the sets, changed into her costume, did her make-up and hair and was ready to shoot. After the entire process, which took her several hours, Vipul shot precisely for a minute before declaring pack-up.

Aishwarya was aghast that Vipul had made her get ready only to shoot for a minute. She openly expressed her displeasure, to which Vipul shot back, ‘Apne sets pe sab time par aate hain aur sab time par jaate hain.’ This was a clear indication of how irritated Vipul was.”

Well, all we can say to Ash is the lesson well learnt or not!!!
